Our Vision

To intentionally become an intercultural church that demonstrates in word and action what it means to be ‘one in Christ’
To intentionally become the heart and soul of this community (Glenfield/North Shore)
To focus on growing and developing our children, youth and young adult ministries in the church and wider community
To develop and (re)build a site/building that is fit for purpose, that serves both the church and the community.
To continue growing and developing the fundamental ministries within the church that build up the body (in quality and in quantity) helping our members to find and follow Jesus. In Particular:

Ministries

Youth

Our youth group is a vibrant positive group that caters for teens (yr 9-13) helping them connect with God and with each other in a safe and caring environment. This exciting group meets every Friday night in term time starting at 7pm and finishing at 10.30pm. A dedicated team of youth leaders encourage, support and guide these young people as they grapple with the issues of life. There are regular social events providing opportunities for young people to have fun and grow healthy relationships with others. Camps, concerts, parachute festival all add to the fun.

Kids Zone

Fun, exciting, dynamic, and inspirational!! Catering for children aged between 5 and 11yrs. Running every Sunday morning during the 10am service. A dedicated team of enthusiastic teachers will provide a biblical program that will grow your child's faith and excite them about God. Songs, dramas, memory verses, art and crafts and stories - all aimed at helping children find and follow Jesus.

One World Playgroup

OWP is a community playgroup where all families with children aged 0-5 are welcome. Our playgroup provides a safe, fun and loving environment for our young learners. It is a place for exploration, empowerment and holistic growth. Parents & whanau will also be able to make new friends in the community and gain support & information about their little ones.

Your Time to Shine with Easy English

This is your chance to make friends, gain confidence and enjoy learning English in a casual and friendly environment.

When: Wednesday mornings @ 10am

Home Groups

Where life and faith meet. Bringing faith alive and people together in a small group environment. These groups will encourage, inspire, and support you in a caring and safe environment. Biblical teaching, prayer and friendship mixed with fun and food. What could be better than that?

Food Bank

GCC provides food parcels to individuals and families in the area that may be struggling to put the basic essentials on the table.

We are seeking donations to help replenish the GCC food bank grocery supplies and help continue the work in the community.

Prayer Chain

Keeping us connected to God and one another We have a prayer chain that communicates on a daily basis. Your prayer needs can be circulated amongst the church family at a moments notice as we tap into the power of God to heal, restore, comfort and provide for us.
